Responsibilities:
- To handle purchasing of products in a timely manner which includes sourcing, evaluating and negotiating.
- Ensure optimum inventory level by monitoring stock movement and review the optimum quantity level periodically.
- To source new suppliers and material in market. Ensure purchase and outsource activities meet the specification and regulatory requirement.
- To coordinate with order processing ensure smooth flow of purchasing activities.
- Monitor and analyze trends in procurement, identify and recommend for savings opportunity.
- Maintaining supplier database information Ensure all purchase inquiry and orders deadlines are meet and to ensure on time delivery.
- Implement purchasing policies, procedures & processes to ensure compliance to company’s internal control guidelines
Requirements:
- Possess Degree in Business Administration / Economics or its equivalent from reputable institute, Male/Female, Max 32 years,
- At least 3 years of experience in the field of Purchasing in local/import process.
- Possess high level of negotiation, problem solving, analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Good proficiency in English, both written & spoken, is a must
- Good Personality and attitude
- Good communication & interpersonal skill, energic and strong service
- Excellent computer skill
- Immaculate presentation skill
