We are looking for candidates to be based in Bali, as below:

REVENUE MANAGER (BASED IN BALI)
|
Main Responsibility :
-
To
ensure that budget is achieved by maximizing on room sales and other
potential revenue through managing the rate levels, occupancy and mix
market concept
-
Manage room inventory, rates and restrictions and other potential source of revenue
-
Analysing booking patterns and market trends and observes rate parity agreements with 3rd party distribution sites
-
Observes rate parity agreements with 3rd party distribution sites

Ensure that cost of sales on the various distribution channels are always kept in track to ensure profitable levels
-
Proactively reviews and implements accommodation rate and volume controls on a daily basis
-
Generally
analyses all past and present trends and applies necessary changes for
future strategies including monitoring competitor performance
-
Manage
all aspects of competitor intelligence; pricing; management of room
inventory, and/or the yield hurdle points; distribution channels, market
segment mix; acceptance/denial of major group bookings.

Drive hotel fair market share performance amongst the competitive set
-
Liaising
with the sales teams, reservation, reception and other department team
to ensure strategies are in place to maximize room occupancy and other
source of income
-
Maximize
all revenues to and for the Hotel, including but not limited to Room
and Banquet/Catering Revenues. Lead cross functional decision making of
all revenue generating departments including Sales and Marketing,
Rooms, Catering and Food and Beverage departments.

Forecasting revenue performance

Produces
and reviews daily pick up reports and month end revenue reports and
provides critical analysis on performance versus forecast and results of
implemented strategies

Delivers and presents the commercial slides on the monthly financial reviews
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration or Business Administration
-
Minimum
3 years experience as Revenue or Yield Manager in 5 star hotel/resort
with reservation or sales marketing back ground is a plus
-
Understand
the composition of hotel profitability, and uses this to evaluate
business from local accounts and groups so as to provide input to future
rate setting and negotiation.

Computer
literate proficiently, and mathematical skills, including basic math,
budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized
frequently.

Demonstrated
knowledge of effective hotel pricing concepts, yield management
optimization and selling strategies, and ability to determine which
concepts to apply in given market conditions.

Strong leadership and team player with effective communication skills
